In North Myrtle Beach, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across South Carolina vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.

North Myrtle Beach is in South Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and North Myrtle Beach follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

This company saved the day for our family. We couldn't have made a better choice for automotive service. The tech was pleasant as well as knowledgeable. They made the repair and replaced our alternator in no time at all. The customer service and response time was exceptional. I'd recommend Kips to anyone in need of a mobile mechanic. I definitely added their contact to my phone for future purposes. Thanks again

Called Kip on a Sun afternoon after being broke down at a rental in Oak Island. After replacing the battery to rule out the possibilities I called him back and he sent out Rylan who showed up with the starter and got to work. He was young but professional. He was concise and got to work immediately. After about 2 hours he got everything back together and my truck fired right up. As a small buisness owner I'm not easily impressed but I was with this company. I highly recommend if youre in a jam and need a mechanic to come to you.

While driving to Myrtle Beach on vacation, the brakes on our truck began to grind and needed to be replaced. I contacted Kip and he was there the next morning. He communicated updates of his arrival and made certain he had the correct parts. He went right to work to make the repairs. He had the tools and knowledge to get the job done quickly. Kip was friendly, efficient and he was very reasonably priced. I highly recommend Kip!

While I was on vacation with my 2 year old, I seen I had picked up a screw in my tire. Kip really came through for us. He fixed our tire and really saved our vacation. I know we will be visiting the area again, and I will rest easy knowing Kip has my back if anything unpleasant happens again.
